Rick Springfield has requested prayers and positive thoughts for his young fan Sahara Aldridge. Sahara is 11 years old and has recently been diagnosed with a Stage 4 Malignant Tumor on her brain stem.

Please remember Sahara during your daily prayers or meditations.

Rick Springfield's Birthday 

Rick Springfield's birthday is Wednesday, August 23rd. Rick has requested all energy that would otherwise go toward his birthday celebration, go to Sahara. There are many ways you can do this, a card, post on her blog, send a small gift, anything you may have wanted to do for Rick's birthday, turn that into something positive for Sahara.

Bracelet's for Sahara

Southern California Rick Springfield fans, Kris Marek and Danielle Sost, are making beautiful Karma bracelets and are selling them to raise money to help Sahara's parents with expenses. The bracelets are $30 each and can be viewed here. To place your order, please contact Kris directly at kweees@aol.com. Orders will be taken through Wednesday, August 30, 2006.

Blood Drive in Stafford , Texas - October 6, 2006

If you are interested in participating in a blood drive for Sahara Aldridge before the Stafford show on Friday, October 6, please e-mail Char privately at cp4rls@yahoo.com. MD Anderson is willing to bring their Blood Mobile to the Stafford Centre from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., but we need a minimum of 25 people willing to donate.
