This song is a great tune. Here's a poor guy that obviously got his heart ran over by the woman that he's describing in the intro. The description of a woman that has wounded him ~ vicious & insatiable. What a combination. The lyrical content isn't all that in depth but it has the necessary "hooks" to be chartable. I found it funny that he wanted his "Calling All Girls" message broadcasted on the radio and video. It worked all too well through the years. This is a great song to crank up on the stereo in your teenage bedroom and while driving in the car. This song seems like such a contradiction. On one hand
I feel the frustration of constant hurt, feeling low and not getting out of
relationships/life what he wanted. Yet it is also a call out for more of what is causing
him so much grief. The "party" scene and the relationships that one usually
garners from that setting made him happy in the moment, so he sought that out for the good
feelings, however temporary they would be, but then when all of that was long gone, he was
still left looking for something more.... In this song it sounds like Rick picked the wrong woman again and is planning on curing his emotional hurt ("Baby don't want to feel this pain anymore") with Sex! Sex! Sex! I LOVE this song! This is in my top 10 favorite Rick tunes. Not because it has any real deep meaning or anything, but simply because it rocks. The opening guitars are perfect! And the way he kicks it off with "she was insatiable, you know the type," is right on. The way he says "know" is like you really do know that type of woman, one who can't get enough. And it sounds as if she hurt him greatly, so he is just being rebellious about the hurt. As if to say, "oh well, I'll get over it. Let's party and have some fun." That's what this song says to me and it's why I like it so well. And what better way to get past the hurt, than to go have fun & cut loose....whatever happens happens. SONG FACTS Rick performed this song during Live and Kickin' and now performs it as part of a Medley at some of his concerts. It appears on the
